The Eagle

One facet of the face of God is an eagle face which each of the four living creatures named as Cherubim had. They are placed around the throne of God to protect its holiness and proclaim the glory of God when it is revealed to them (Ezek 1:3-10; 10:15; Rev 4:6-10). Each time the living creatures revealed a facet of God, we see the elders who represent the Church of God fall down before God and worship Him by casting their crowns (Rev 4:9-11)
